I've really gotten into alter art and collage art lately. I'm totally addicted!! Here are some Skinny pages I made. What's a skinny you ask? A skinny is a 4x8 piece of collage art done digitally or hand cut. Since I kinda suck at cutting all those little pieces out by hand (I'm getting better lol) I do most of mine digitally.

This piece was created using images from TumbleFish Studio available on Etsy. It was my very first one!!

This little cutie was made with images from Lisa's Altered Art also availabe on Etsy and the background was from TumbleFish.

Due to my husbands insistence and his fears of my sanity I'm going to start posting my Project 365 photos and layouts here too. I tend to spread myself a bit thin and this year is no exception. Along with designing I am doing project 365, Wreck This Journal and The Art Journal Caravan over at Scrapbook Graphics. Yeah I know lol. Since I'm at DH's tattoo shop I don't have the photos with me so as soon as I get home I'll start uploading.

I'm so happy to tell you that I am now a designer for Digital Scrap Garden! These ladies are sooo much fun to work with and we have such an amazing community! You really should go check it out if you haven't before. We have some awesome challenges going on this month and for each challenge you earn "seeds" to make a purchase from the shop. That way you get what YOU want! Pretty cool huh?!

One of the challenges is the Rainbow Challenge. You receive a color palette and you can make a layout or mini kit or anything with those colors. March's colors were so gorgeous I just had to make a mini kit. SOOOO, grab the mini and make a layout then head over to DSG to get yourself some "seeds"!!!

They lost their 13 year old son this weekend after a 6 year long battle with brain cancer. Nick was a sweet, sweet child who always had a smile on his face and hope in his heart. His parents, Tammy and Tim, were there for us when we lost our baby boy at 2 days old. I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child after 13 years when the loss of our 2day old Daniel was so excruciating.

We love you Tim, Tammy and family.

March for Babies

It's almost time for the March for Babies in my area. If you are unfamiliar with this it is the anual walk to sponsor the March of Dimes. Last year I raised over $600 and this year I'd love to hit $1000. I know that seems like a lot but every little bit helps. In addition to taking online donations I have put together a huge collab kit with all proceeds going to the March of Dimes. I have had an overwhelming response from my fellow designers and this kit will be amazing! It should go on sale around the 1st of March so I'll be sure to let eveyone know where they can pick it up. I also plan on doing some S4H work and selling March of Dimes merchandise to boost the donations.
If you would like to make a donation you will see my March for Babies blinkie at the top of the blog. Click it and it will take you to my personal page were you can make the donation via paypal. It goes directly to the March of Dimes that way. Even if it's $5 you can help save the life of a baby.

Calling all designers

Professional or otherwise...
I am putting together a Charity Kit to be sold for the March of Dimes. The March for Babies will be in April in my area. I did it last year and raised over $600 so this year I'd love to double the amount.
March of Dimes is very dear to my heart. My twins were born 10 weeks early and had a very rough time in the beginning. We also lost our first son who only lived for 2 days because he was born at 24 weeks. Both times I had a healthy pregnancy and saw the Doctor often.
The kit will most likely be sold on Ebay because of the legal issues with selling them in a store. As I am in the US and my stores are over seas.
If any of you would like to participate please drop me a line and I will get the rest of the information to you. Even if it's just a handful of papers, every little bit will help.

Hello everyone! I hope you all have a safe a joyful Christmas. I have had a blast so far. The kids are really getting into it this year. You've all seen the kids that rip open a present, throw it over their shoulders and grab the next one? Not my kids lol...it took them a good 30 minutes to pry themselves away from one gift to even open the next one. Their favorites so far have been harmonicas and little toy laptops lol. Oh and the indoor slid they got from their aunt and uncle. Yeah, my living room has now officially exploded lol.

Happy Halloween everybody! We took the twins trick or treating last night and it was a blast! Well, we took them to family only, but they still had a great time. They don't eat candy (lol their choice, really) so everybody got them coloring books and stuffed animals and toys lol. They got a pretty good haul. I dressed them as Luke and Princess Leah...lol...they were so stinkin cute.

Halloween...One of my Favorites.

Yes it's 3:30 in the morning...now you know why I hate when my kids get up at 8am lol. But I just couldn't help myself. I love Halloween! Every year the kids love coming to my house because I always deck it out in the coolest stuff. I have cauldrons, skeletons, spider web, tombstones, creepy music playing...you name it. I also do little bags of goodies with usually a coloring book, crayons, stickers, pencils and couple pieces of candy. I figure they get enough sweet stuff so I try to give them something extra. I love to see their little faces when I drop the goodies in their bags! It makes me happy!! lol

Good Morning...I think...

Well again, I'm up way too early. My son is cutting his last four molars and he wakes up just screaming sometimes...poor baby. He always cut at least 2 at a time and these last few are about to do him in. You know that has to hurt like the devil. But he's back asleep and I'm heading back that way myself very shortly. Here we are again...

OK, first of all my kids got up waaaayyyy to early for me this morning so if I mess something up please forgive me and let me know.

Secondly, don't ever try to take a pair of slippers off a child who thinks she's a princess in them, because you WILL have a fight on your hands. I tried to get my daughter's off when I went to bed last night and she threw a fit! Then every 2 minutes for the next half hour she'd grab her feet to make sure they were still there. So this morning she has little sweaty, stinky feet but she's happy, so oh well.

Thirdly, terrible two's with twins is just down right frightening. They fought all day yesterday. He couldn't look at her without her getting mad. But at the end of the day they cuddled up together and slept, so maybe they won't kill each other after all.

Well enough about that lol.....on to the freebie.
